Project Overview

The core of the identity is a blue to pink gradient colour scheme, symbolising the connection between boys and girls with the use of the products being sold. This can then be placed inside shapes fading out at the edges to suggest blushing.

Overview

Save Embarrassment is a sub-brand owned by AB Online Limited that sells recognised brands of contraceptives at highly competitive prices. The business uses the eBay and Amazon marketplace platforms as well as their own e-commerce shop to sell direct to the customer.

The name refers to the eradication of the embarrassment experienced by young adults buying contraceptives over the counter in pharmacies or supermarkets by buying discreetly and anonymously online, and therefore potentially reducing the risk of unprotected sex.

The need for a coherent look became apparent when we began working with AB Online Limited to produce the HTML listing templates. We produced a simple identity for the brand that could be applied easily wherever necessary but that would allow instant recognition when placed next to competitors’ products on the online marketplace websites.

The core of the identity is the blue to pink gradient colour scheme, symbolising the connection between boys and girls with the use of the products being sold. This can then be placed inside shapes fading out at the edges to suggest blushing.

A simple rounded typeface that is reflective of the shape of the products was used alongside clean, crisp product photography completes the identity.
